  • Rare moth discovery at Kinneff Community Orchard
    Volunteers monitoring wildlife at Kinneff Community Orchard have made an exciting discovery, recording one of Scotland’s rarest moth visitors. During a routine moth survey using overnight light traps, the team identified a Marbled Yellow Pearl (Evergestis extimalis), a species recorded only a handful of times in Scotland.
